You just make a decision about theme, music and enjoy the vivid clip at the end. One more advantage is that the app creates a movie in a background mode, so you can use your phone freely.
As for drawbacks – you cannot choose the transitions yourself and put the clips in a strict order. The app mixes them itself. The same with music – only given-by-the-program tracks are available.
The bottom line: this android application is for those who want to get a high-quality, quick-to make and amazing “keep memory-videos”.
Movie Editor
This editor has five features. With its help you can trim a video, split a clip into two parts or, vice versa, merge two clips into one. Moreover, you can convert video into audio or make snapshots. It is quite a fast and easy app with a plain interface.
But for making imaginative clips it’s too plain. There are no transitions, or background music, or video effects…
The bottom line: this is an editor not for creating complete masterpieces but for some intermediate operations videos.
Silent Movie Maker
It works in the best traditions of the old American cinema. It turns ordinary videos into black and white and sepia ones. Watching them you feel like two hundred years ago. The effects for applying to a file are quite numerous – scratches, pinholes, flare and drop frames, some advanced effects.
But interface seems a bit odd at the beginning. Then, producing a video takes too much time. One may consider the absence of music as a drawback, but look, we have been warned – the movie should be silent!
The bottom line: use it for making your videos exceptional and “vintage-looking”.
VidTrim
Vid Trim is an intricate app. Cutting and Applying effects are its only features. It is an app for a single video, not a sequence of them. It changes a video in an odd way – so to say makes a slideshow out of it.
The effects, you can use are not so various, but they are quite ok, though some may seem a bit unnatural. And the biggest disadvantage – it is constantly begging to buy a full version.
The bottom line: you can use it for editing a video clip if you need something “special”.
Well…actually, I was a little disappointed. While starting investigating I expected to find more interesting apps with more numerous features. May be someone of you has created something like this? Or what apps do you use for making your memories unforgettable?
